Ruby and Bailey Wedding Expedition

So... the new costumes have arrived from the site and while Ruby and Bailey are sniffing around the boxes, I'm thinking... photo opportunity...(mean mommy)

So, I proceed to chase around after Bailey to put on the tuxedo as he thinks its all fun and games. After fitting it on, hes very snug and cosy in it. The material feels very nice and the outfit itself is quite thick - I'm suprised at what great quality it is for a dog costume. All is going well until it comes to putting on the hat.... Bailey is not too fond of anything on his head including hair bows (we've been there before). So after running around chasing after him, I finally get the hat on.

Then its Rubys turn....
The wedding dress comes out of the package and she runs to me to have it put on... that little girl LOVES dressing up and being spoilt. She lays on her back for me to put her legs in and I Close the velcro part. The dress looks much prettier on then it does when you first take it out of the packet. Its like a satin feel and is very soft. It comes with a veil and Ruby has no problems having this put on.

So here goes..... the photo taking.... Biscuits are not working for posing, so have to resort to ham. The two of them are oblivious to commands such as sit, lie down or stay unless there is food involved - and then it has to be something of their choice... ;o)

Two hours later..... and we have two photos that are of any use ... and here they are....

Bailey's Story......
I'm sniffing the boxes that came in via the postman whos legs I like to chew when I get whipped up and brought into another room. I was just about to have a nice pee up the box cos there was definately some other dog near that box at some stage. Then I'm getting pulled around to put on this stupid thing - mom calls it a tuxedo but all I want to know is where are the sausages... Then she goes and put this silly thing on my head... I hate stuff on my head cos I'm a boy and boys just don't have things put on top of their face and head...

I think I look really silly, but mommy and grandad are standing around smiling and cooing at me, so I must look hot... And out comes the ham... I like ham... so they want me to sit - hell yeah I'll sit for some ham...

Then in comes Ruby in her costume and hey does she look stupid... I definately don't feel so silly anymore ! I think I'm going to pee on her and take that silly look off her face .... hehehehehehe

Baileys Day Out at The Car Boot Sale

Mommy brought me and my little sister to the local car boot sale to have a look around.

There was soooo much stuff like toy cars and bikes and clothes and fireguards and plants and pots and irons and toys and more toys... stuffed ones in particular - I just couldn't contain my excitement.

.... Plus there was lots of stuff to pee on including corners of tables, things left on the floor, other dogs. Mommy was quite annoyed with me and kept pulling my away - I don't know what her problems was - its not like I was doing anything wrong !!!

All I wanted to do was bark and play and everyone kept going to pet me and of course they should be privileged to pet me - because of course I'm very famous and I belong to the Royal Family. (I'm a King Charles)

I was running in all sorts of directions - didn't know what I should do first... so many people, so many smells...

I love playing... I crouch down on my front legs and wag my tail lots and lots...I want everyone to give me toys and throw the ball....and everyone really falls for my charms and my good looks this way.

It was a bit exhausting of a day and me and my little sis snook in somewhere and had a little nap - after all we do need our 17 hours a day beauty sleep !

Well its one of those days again where I just don't know what car to bring out ....into the garden to feast on !

Its so hard having all this choice of which toy is going to get wrecked by me today.... Will I try and chew the wheels of the limited edition Barkswaggin or do I fancy the bonnet from the Furcedes... ?

I told you I like Cat Toys !!

Nobody believes me and mommy when I tell them that I just go crazy for cat toys....

Princess's Don't Go Out In The Rain Without a Raincoat

Well it was raining over the weekend and there is no way that I am stepping outside the door to get wet. No walk is worth that ! Fur that gets wet gets all smelly and i don't like being smelly... I like being clean and smelling like roses. I'm not like Bailey - hes discraceful ! His idea of fun is rolling around the woods in horse manure or digging under the shed in the garden and getting all muddy.... not me, I was born to be clean and dry all the time (apart from baths that is... and I love baths).

So I finally convinced my mommy to buy me the most beautiful raincoat ever ! Its reversible so it I can mix and match with the various colour collars that I have. I have a pink collar with my name on it for the all pink side of the coat and then a dotty pink collar that I wear when it is the opposite way around.

So, now I don't mind going out for walkies in the rain because I am all dry.... although I think mommy is going to have to buy me some boots soon to co-ordinate because I don't think I can bear my feet getting wet anymore either....

Ruby's Bathtime Adventures

I was so sick of getting out of my favourite place and getting all cold. When mommy gets out of the bath, she has this lovely overcoat thing that she puts over her and it looks all snuggly and warm. She has matching slippers too for it, which is so unfair because I had nothing..... I felt so neglected and unloved because I didn't have one of those things too. Surely special people and dogs should have nice things like that to keep them warm ? I am so hard done by.....

Then after my last bath a couple of days ago where I was washed in this yummy coconut smelling shampoo, mommy pulled out from behind her back the cutest little overcoat in the same colour as hers... I was so excited I thought I was going to pee (but don't forget princess's like me never pee). It was soooo cuddly all wrapped in this thing mommy then told me was a bathrobe. Can't you see how happy I look ? Mommy told me only special doggies get bathrobes like this... I felt so loved all over again.

My life is perfect once again.... and bathtimes are even more fun than before.
